The Quality Department regularly inspects lots for compliance with delivery specifications at the request of the intermediation organization, supplier or buyer. The purpose is to give buyers the guarantee that the required specifications are actually provided.

Incoming control for buyers

If you are unable to check the quality and sorting of the lots delivered after the auction, the Quality Department can do this for you.

Quality supervision for intermediary orders

The main aim of this service is to prevent or to discover on time any quality problems with orders concluded via the intermediary organization. A signed contract or an order confirmation is necessary for this service. The deployment of this quality supervision service for intermediary transactions reduces your risks, reinforces your positive image and enables you to dictate your own customer-specific standards and requirements.

Durability testing

FloraHolland has highly advanced ISO-certified research facilities at Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk and Rijnsburg, where you can have your (purchased) products tested. The durability tests are sometimes used to resolve quality disputes between the Quality Department and the buyer.

Point of address

The Quality Department is the point of address for both growers and buyers on matters pertaining to product quality and the reliability of supply information.
