Enforcement of Plant passport postponed from pot size 1023 March 2020
As of Saturday 14 December 2019, a plant passport has been required to be able to trade plants. The plant passport at pot level for pot size 10 and larger would have come into force from 1 July 2020. Due to the current circumstances, we have decided to postpone this enforcement rule until further notice.
For plants with pot size 19 and larger, the plant passport is mandatory at plant level and therefore remains in force. The plant passport at packaging level applies to all plants with a pot level smaller than 19. We will also continue enforcing these current rules. Although a large majority of the suppliers of plants from pot size 10 already use the plant passport at plant level, we will postpone the enforcement rule until further notice.
